    Purchased Anthony’s Tiger Nut flour for an AIP waffle recipe and the waffles really rise and come out very tasty. I’ve also substituted in pancake recipes also and they come out great. Have not tried any cake recipes as my daughter is currently sensitive to eggs, but love the flour and would definitely recommend. Reminds me in texture and color of coconut flour but a very mild to no flavor, so ideal for baking.

    I’m an amateur baker and use tigernut powder/flour frequently for my paleo brownies. I’ve been using Organic Gemini Tigernut for a while but when the price increased on their flour, I decided to give Anthony’s a try. I’m happy I did because Anthony’s was much finer and baked perfectly in my recipe. Happy to save a few bucks and get a higher quality product.

    First time trying tigernut flour – so I’m not sure I can compare it to anything. But I’ve been gluten/nut free for a while and finding substitutes can be tricky. So I was hopeful about giving this stuff a go. Also, I have a lot of allergies and was worried about how I’d react to this – no far no noticeable reactions. Hooray!I love making quick lil mug cakes for breakfast on the go and usually, I use coconut flour. But that leaves my goodies dry and heavy. Tigernut flour is a lot lighter and has a nutty flavour that goes really well with a lot! This is pretty finely ground which makes for smooth baked goodies. Definitely worth the price!

    I bought a bag of Tiger Nut flour as a substitute to flour since recently my boyfriend and I have gone gluten free. I used the flour to bake some delicious brownies. My boyfriend and I actually think it tastes a lot better than using the regular flour. I think this is mainly due to the natural sweetness Tiger Nut possesses. On my second attempt trying to be Betty Crocker I used Anthony’s Tiger Nut flour to bake Tiger Nut cookies. The first batch of 12 cookies came out so good, we decided to invite our good friend/neighbors over and baked a second batch with them. ha ha…10 out of 10 for this Tiger Nut flour!!!

    NO sandy texture!!! I used to buy the Organic Gemini brand, but because the price was about the same decided to try Anthony’s. Wow, what a difference in the texture! There is little to no sandy texture in Anthony’s brand. Love it! This one also makes such nice smooth “nut butter”.Recipe: 1c. Tigernut flour, 1/4 c. + tbsp coconut oil (solid kind) blend together in mixer. Yummy!

    I made tons of delicious recipes with this Tigernut flour, I went on a AIP protocol for 3 months to heal my gut and tried this Tigernut flour. It was MY FAV, almond flour and coconut flour makes my tummy ache if I eat more than 2 tbsp… I attached a few of my fav recipes with Tigernut flour, it’s on my blog now.
