I have made these several times and this is my go-to brownie mix. My husband loves them and forgets everytime that they are gluten free. I agree with the other reviewer – follow the direction exactly, because I have tried adding extra ingredients and the brownies turned out gooey. The only successful additions I have made were chocolate chips or cocoa nibs. However, I have successfully substituted the butter for carrot or apple pulp. You’ll like these if you:* need chocolate* want something quick and easy* need something GF and don’t mind sugar & alternate floursEnjoy everyone!

I’ve been buying these for several years, ever since Betty Crocker came out with them! I still may make my own GF from scratch periodically, this mix is great for when one of my sons wants to bake something on his own…no oversight required, very little mess and everyone in the household can safely enjoy. Perfect. Two of my sons have been rooming together away at college, as a modern twist on a standard care package I have Amazon send them a Prime Pantry box every month or 2. Now these 2 don’t have celiac, they can eat gluten, no problem, but I only bake gluten free at home to accommodate the gluten free in the household, just the way it is. So I had been sending them the standard wheat-flour-filled brownie mix for their midnight cram sessions until they asked me to please send them the same Betty Crocker Gluten Free Brownie Mix they make at home cause all their friends agree, the gluten free just tastes better. I was shocked. For years they’ve all hassled me that since I only bake gluten free to accommodate the celiac, they insist that gluten is love and gluten free baking means baking without the love…obviously a necessary ingredient. Yes, its about $3 more per box and they don’t actually need the gluten free, but I sent them 3 boxes in this month’s care package.

This was a Prime Pantry purchase I made from my girlfriend who is on a gluten-free diet. She loved the brownies, as did I. I will definitely be buying her more of these in the future.A good addition might be to break up a dark chocolate bar into small pieces and mix it into the batter. Small chocolate surprises immersed in the brownies that way.

I am a brownie nut and am now gluten free. I have made lots of recipes over the years, but these are the bomb! Wonderful brownie texture and taste, just like Mom used to make. Absolutely love this product!

These are the BEST brownies ever. You could never tell that they are gluten free. I will actually make these over any other box brownie. The mix goes in the pan very thick, but the brownie comes out so amazingly moist and delicious!

Just as awesome as their regular brownie mix! No one knew the difference! I added some extra chocolate chips to batter, just as I do with regular brownies.I know that some other gf brownie mixes don’t bake well in the center, so I poured the batter into mini muffin tins and they cooked up beautifully (and faster).Highly recommend!

Celiac in our family has changed our grocery store lists and homemade cakes, cookies, brownies, and desserts are mandatory now. When you do try a prepackaged item, 80% gluten free box mixes definitely have a different taste. I can’t say that about Betty Crocker’s Gluten Free Brownies. Yum Yum.

These brownies were awesome! They weren’t awesome just for a gluten free brownie, they taste and have the same texture as the brownie mixes I grew up with. Will definitely purchase again!

These were so good that my gluten eating boyfriend asked why gluten was even necessary if gluten free tastes this good. We loved them. FYI my box had milk in the ingredients- fine by me but if you’re dairy-free as well, beware. Easy to make and quite tasty. Highly recommend.

I have recently discovered that I can’t eat wheat. So I have gone to a gluten-free diet, and have been trying different things. I bought these brownies expecting OK, but not great. They are wonderful! I like them better than regular brownies. Much more “chocolatey.”
