This cake is excellent for making lower carb, sugar free, gluten free cake recipes. The texture is coarser than the sugar and gluten filled versions but I like it. It has the perfect amount of sweetness to it. I made the pineapple upside down cake using swerve brown and it was grand! If using the Birch Bender jar frostings on this cake, spread them thin, as the frosting is super sweet. I used a few drops of Lorann cherry flavor oil in the Birch Bender vanilla frosting for one cake, mixed with a stick blender, and it was spectacular.

When you eat low-carb… When you’re both gluten free AND sugar free… It can be a real struggle to find a treat for yourself once in awhile, and especially one that’s tasty enough to serve to those not eating by your same restrictions. Thank heavens for Duncan Hines! They had always been one of my go-to mixes for baked products, when I didn’t have time for scratch, because of the consistent quality of their products. It’s nice to see that now that they’ve stepped into this specialty eating domain their commitment to quality has not waivered. The flavor was lovely with just the right touch of vanilla. Very moist, and my family didn’t notice the difference until I let the cat out of the bag that it was keto! These mixes will definitely be a staple in my cabinet from now on!

This cake mix offers a ton of options for Keto dieters I have added spices to make spice cake, chocolate sugar free cocoa for chocolate cake, red food coloring and chocolate to make red velvet makes a great shortcake for strawberry shortcake. Have not made yet but will make a pineapple upside down cake ( sugar free brown sugar and limited no sugar added pineapple) . Let your mind run wild and see what you can come up with you just might be surprised pleasantly. The brownie mix is amazing also I used crumbled up brownie to make a graham cracker type crust and made the chocolate lasagna (look on line for recipe and again let your mind go wild) would work well for the banana split pie with vanilla/banana pudding and banana flavoring. ENJOY ENJOY is kinda pricey but a great product.

First, remember that this is a diet product, meant to substitute for the real thing, not be the real thing. Secondly, enjoy it for what it is, not what you wish it to be.This does not taste or feel like any other cake you’ve tried before. That will be clear to you at the first bite. Anyone could eat this, and perhaps enjoy it, but I wouldn’t suggest using it for a crowd. This cake mix is truly best only served to those actually on a low carb diet. It’s good, don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed it immensely. My sweet tooth was satisfied and I’ll definitely purchase it again. What sets it apart three most from real cake is the texture. It’s dense and unusually moist– but not like regular cake. It’s difficult to describe… I suppose you could say it seems to have a higher moisture content when finished. It didn’t rise as much as I expected when baking it. I wanted a second box just so I could layer it and have it look right. I used a springform pan, but don’t remember which size. All I remember is that it barely finished at an inch tall, if that, and looked almost the same coming out of the oven as it went in.Overall, I recommend this to any low carb dieter, just don’t set unreasonable expectations that it’s going to be like normal cake.

After her battle with colon cancer, my mom cannot eat gluten or processed sugar. This product allowed me to make a birthday cake that the entire family could enjoy. That being said, please remember that this cake is for people with dietary restrictions, and it serves as an alternative to store bought cake.I’m a seasoned baker, and this cake was simple to bake and decorate. I topped mine with fresh whipped cream and strawberries.

I love this product. I turned it into a Texas sheet cake. I added a quarter cup of cocoa powder, one extra egg, coffee instead of water and butter instead of oil. I triple sifted the dry ingredients. I cooked it on a 9 by 11 jelly-roll pan until it felt firm. I used my usual Texas sheet cake icing recipe but substituted powdered allulose for regular powdered sugar. Spread the icing on my warm cake and refrigerated. Turned out absolutely spectacular! Moist and not grainy. The flavor is so incredibly close to the recipe with sugar, the texture is excellent as well. Very versatile keto cake mix. My cake turned out deliciously rich, therefore a smaller piece is super satisfying. You can still keep it Keto as far as the carb count. I know some will say it’s dirty keto. To that I say, to each his own.

The price of these at my big name grocery store is $9.00 per box. When I saw these on Amazon and the for the Amazon price I had to order a bunch! I bake my own goodies but this box mix is good in a pinch. I can’t eat too much or I will get gastrointestinal issues but great to have on hand when I just want to use a mix. I make my own keto chocolate cream cheese frosting for this case (which doesn’t give me gastric issues).

I used an extra egg and sugar free chocolate chips. We loved it!

This was the best keto cake I have had so far. I substituted the coconut oil for butter. I over paid for this mix through a third party seller on amazon but it is a great product

I can’t believe all the one-star reviews! A keto cake made with almond and coconut flours will never taste like a cake made with flour! And complaints about sweetness! It’s a CAKE, not a muffin. I hate coconut but I love this cake because it is the best I’ve had while limited to a no-sugar, no-flour diabetic diet. I add a teaspoon of vanilla and half a teaspoon of almond extract and use butter instead of coconut oil. It has always been very moist except one time it was slightly dry when I left it in five extra minutes due to a mushy texture, so take it out right before the fork is clean if you can and let it firm up. It is a bit dense but it’s nut flour! Don’t expect miracles! If you are used to low carb things without flour and sugar, you should like this. Tone down the coconut flavor with butter or refined coconut oil and extracts. I’m going to try a spice cake next! Five dollars is a reasonable price for a whole keto cake — check out cookies and things in the sugar free department! It’s only 40 cents more than the one store I can sometimes find it at here.Someone said the carbs are wrong, but you don’t count sugar alcohol carbs or allulose carbs and you subtract the fiber from the rest.
