All you need is overnight! Measure water, add coffee packets, refrigerate 12 hours or overnight.Excellent brew. Not bitter, but well flavored. I drank it black & with cream & sugar. Both were very satisfying.

Just remember when you make this coffee; the PROCESS is the key! Yes the bags are fragile, yes it takes 8-12 hours AND when done properly (allowed to steep in pure, COLD WATER, without agitating, while in the refrigerator) the result is a quality product that ABSOLUTELY RIVALS all $5/cup of coffee products! …as far as strength goes… the longer you leave the coffee bags in the water = the stronger the coffee becomes. YOU are in control and it uses less energy than brewing coffee with your coffee machine 😉 great product!

I’ve been using this since the pandemic as a replacement of my everyday DD iced coffee. I add some DD creamer & it’s perfection.

I will admit that when I seen all these reviews for DD and people are saying it’s the best – I was thinking they didn’t know what good coffee was. I thought no way can a donut shop coffee deliver a good cold brew. (I am admitting I was wrong so please don’t come for me) 😉.I decided to buy like 6 different brands of cold brew since I was on the hunt for a change (I was forced to change with Covid) I was a 100% Starbucks customer. (7 days a week) well when Covid started we all had to work from home and every morning I would still go get coffee but the problem was Starbucks would be closed like 4 days out of the week. (Never consistent) so I am now pleased to say that I NEVER go to Starbucks after making my own cold brew at home.I found a few cold brews that I do like and DD Is definitely on my list (near the top). I do have to admit that some days I want it stronger so I add either more Grounds to the cold brew process or sometimes I make it according to the package and I will add coffee concentrate to my cup of cold brew. (I think my tastebuds change daily) so everyday I have a new process lol.Daily- (I make my CB into nitro CB) I put my pre-made cold brew into a nitro press. In my cup- 1 or 2 pumps of Torani SF Carmel syrup and I also make a Knock off Starbucks cold foam to put on top (it’s like heaven) Starbucks doesn’t even compare now.(Cold foam recipe- heavy whip cream (4-6 tablespoons) and some vanilla or caramel syrup (1 pump or either choice) and whip it with a handheld Milk frother) pour on top.
