If you want coffee you can read a newspaper through, I guess you could make it weak enough. We like robust coffee with good flavor and no bitterness, then you may like this. We would be unwilling to buy anything else, we have and after many good deal tries, just settled in to the Columbian peaks.

I was introduced to this brand of coffee by my mother. I was all to excited when I found this brand on Amazon this month. I must say, from the very first sip, it brought back fond memories. It is smooth and the flavor is pleasant and not overpowering. I’m so happy to be reassociated with my mommy’s coffee choice; the only brand she drank!

I like 8 o’clock coffee because when I think that life can’t possibly get any better I open my cabinet to see the bright red bags glistening in the fluorescent light and my heart skips a beat, my legs get a little weak, and my mouth begins to salivate like one of Pavlov’s dogs. It is like winning the lottery on a beautiful spring day. It is an example of all that is good in the world. The only thing that could make it better would be if one of the fine makers of this fabulous coffee came over each morning to brew it and serve it to me in bed, but last I checked that service is not yet available with Amazon Prime.

I was a lil scared at first, but I am loving this. EOC struck gold once again. And since I haven’t seen this or the lovely Mocha Macchiato in stores, Amazon will become my official coffee supplier from now on.10/10

When I “rediscovered” Eight O’clock coffee a year ago in my local grocery store andI still love it! Just like I remember from 40 years ago. I now get it here on Amazon because they carry a much larger bag for a great price. When I was a child, they had coffee grinders at the end of the belt at every cash register in the A & P’s and First National in my hometown. It was my job to grind the Eight O’clock coffee beans while mom checked out. As soon as I opened that bag of coffee a year ago, I was transported back to the A & P and that grinder, mom’s percolator on the stove- to a simpler time. Even though I was only 8 or 9 it was such a wonderful smell. I keep my coffee in an air-tight container to keep it fresh and I can’t wait for the smell of coffee each morning.ENJOY!!

As a first time eight o’clock purchaser I came in with little to no expectations. I was interested to try and discover new blends of coffee. This brand of coffee is smooth and tasty and the smell is delightful and guaranteed to attract questions about your cup of coffee. The caramel macchiato flavor is not too overwhelming but more of a slight kick if you are drinking black but can go well with a creamer as well. My 11 ounce pack lasted me a little over 1 month brewing 4 cups a day. I would definitely purchase again!

I was a little skeptical, as I usually buy fancy coffee, grind my own beans, spend a ton more money. I bought this because being on lockdown, I was worried I might run out of coffee before I could get a scheduled curbside delivery from my local grocery store. So, I recalled that my Mother always drank this brand, bought from the local A&P, it was the only coffee I ever remember being in my childhood home, back when I hated coffee. My parents drank their coffee black, something I have never been able to do, but I am starting to think that this “sweet, fruity” product is how they did it. This coffee never smells “skunky” or “burnt,” like so many modern varieties do. This coffee is smooth, actually is sweet and has a lovely aroma. I may never go back to expensive, harsh and stinky coffee again. This coffee is an excellent buy for the buck, too. I suspect this 42oz. bag of coffee will get me a long way through The Plague Times.

I’ve always enjoyed light-to-medium roast coffees with smooth, full-bodied flavor, but no bitterness or acid. It is a hard combination to find. Many light and medium roast coffees are lacking in flavor, or are acidic. Dark roasts are right out because of their burnt, bitter, over-roasted taste which covers up the coffee flavor itself.Eight O’Clock Original Roast ground coffee fits the bill nicely, hitting all of my requirements. If you are looking for those same qualities (I find that many who grew up on the East Coast or in the Midwest enjoy that same diner/donut shop/restaurant style coffee), then you should also enjoy this Eight O’Clock Original Roast.Other ground, bagged coffees with similar qualities are Gevalia Traditional or Columbia roasts, and Chock Full O’ Nuts Original roast, if you want to try some others, as well. (Although, CFoN can be a little acidic.)

I love this coffee for many reasons.1) simply good coffee, no bad after taste or too acidic. Just good coffee from a really good supplier.2) This brand has so many flavors and different options and they are all fantastic. I have never had a bad experience from this brand of coffee.3) be smart about buying this coffee, the prices fluctuate so I feel like a stock broker. Sometimes the price is right, sometimes I literally wait and it changes the very next day. This coffee rivals something you would pay 5 bucks for. Now, no fancy machines needed you can do it all on your own and never go wrong.

This my second time buying and loving a flavored coffee. First was from here but, I can’t remember the brand name. It was a yellow bag though, with chocolate mocha flavored coffee. That one and THIS coffee is Awesome!. Others I’ve tried were a total waste of money and time. But I do recommend this brand and flavor. I hired but the 100% Colombian 8 o’clock coffee from a grocery awhile waiting for this. Before that I’d never had this brand of coffee. Now I’ll buy it all the time.1 last thing, it IS stronger than the Aldi’s Donut shop brand drip coffee and Nescafe instant coffees I’M used to so maybe try a little less than you normally put in your coffee maker.
