I bought this product for my granddaughter who has to have everything gluten free. She seemed very pleased with this cookie mix.

I have purchased this several times and use it to make cookies and apple cake. It’s super easy to adjust the amounts you need and has a good neutral taste – slightly sweet, but not overpoweringly so. For the apple cake, I mix it (1/2 cup) with soy milk (1/2 cup) , eggs (2), lemon extract, and cinnamon (poured over 2 sliced apples) and it comes out light and fluffy every time with a light lemon-y taste.

Having Celiac Disease means that sometimes one has to make do with many food items that are less than delicious. I’ve used many GF flours over the years. King Arthur’s GF flour and mixes have been my favorite for a while. Hadn’t tried the cookies until now. I followed the instructions, adding nuts and chocolate chips. My husband has no problem with gluten but as long as what I serve tastes good, he doesn’t mind sharing my GF diet. He loved these cookies; they were delicious and as good as regular cookies of a similar type.

If you add walnuts in the mix, you have a real treat. The cookies were quite good and even those not on a gluten free program liked them. I have used other king author products and they tasted good as well.
