    The texture is fabulous! I also use the muffin mix for bundt cakes. It comes out moist and flavorful every.single.time. I recently played with the mix and added 1 cup of grated carrot (smaller grate), 1 tablespoon cinnamon, generous teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice mix (available at grocery store) and close to a tablespoon vanilla and made the best carrot bundt cake ever. I used store bought vanilla frosting and added a couple tablespoons of cream cheese. You couldn’t even tell it was glutenfree! I tricked everyone.

    It is SO hard to find gluten free products that consistently bake up well and appeal to the picky eaters in my family!! We were addicted to Better Batter, but I find the King Arthur line is better as far as consistent quality and flexibility go. The oven in our rental home is just terrible and screws up just about anything we put in it, but we had great success with these!These are easy to make, bake up beautifully, and are not gritty or bland tasting. They are moist, chewy, and not too sweet. We add fresh blueberries (make sure you dry the fresh berries off after washing them) or dried cranberries and orange peel to them, and they disappear within 48 hours.King Arthur Gluten Free mixes are the kings of baking mixes.

    I love these to make my blackberry gluten free muffins with. Make the muffins as follows and tear apart then berries and put them in the batter. My husband raves over these muffins and he couldn’t tell they were gluten free. The flavor and thickness were great.

    Absolutely THE best – whether GF or reg – “boxed” mix muffins EVER. SO tender, fluffy, moist and delicious – I am hooked! Used butter/ ghee mix instead of oil, lactose free milk, and a combo of some coconut, mixed berries and a tsp or so of vanilla. The mix made 16 muffins. I forgot to let them “rest” for the recommenced 10 mins but it didn’t matter: they still baked up beautifully! I do not usually take the time to write reviews but just had to for this product. Just received yest, made them last night, and am back on here today to buy more. So grateful for this discovery!

    This is easy to prepare and possibly the best cornbread we’ve ever eaten – which is probably why it periodically goes out of stock. I usually buy 3 at a time. The cornbread is on the sweet side but not overly so. It is not too crumbly and retains moisture when stored. Slice the leftovers in two like sandwiches, brush with butter, and toast for a yummy treat.

    When you add blueberries, raspberries, or other fruit to this product, you get the best gluten-free muffins ever. I finish them off with a touch of raw sugar on the tops. The only catch is that you must increase the cooking time considerably. Most people say they cannot tell they are gluten free.

    A favorite in my house. My kids and husband look forward to me making my “weekend” muffins. I like to add a little organic vanilla in these. And either use blueberries or chocolate chips.I sneak chia seeds and hemp seeds in them usually and my kids so not know. Sometimes I even add a scoop of protein powder or collagen powder to add some protein content to them. If you do that just add another tablespoon of olive oil to keep them moist. I also use vanilla almond milk as the liquid rather than water or regular milk.I’ve tried so many other gluten free mixes and most are horrible and funny tastes. This one hands down is the best. And really is a great product.

    I adore King Arthur gluten free mixes, especially the bread/ pizza mix.This is the first time I’ve made the muffin mix. I made it as directed, poking frozen blueberries into the batter in the pan, rather than mixing them in. I baked half of them in a traditional metal pan for mini muffins for the kids. I baked the rest in a regular size silicone muffin pan. Both turned out fabulous. I regret only buying 4 boxes of the muffin mix. We have 8 people in our household, so we go through yummy food super fast.Be aware that this box mix makes plain muffins.You can customize the flavor by adding in things like berries, chopped apple, or nuts.
