Delicious!! I have hated every single protein pancake recipe I find on Pinterest or diet sites. Someone suggested this brand and I gave it a try with almond butter and sugar free syrup. Tastes fantastic! Like a pancake!! Lol

I use this in all kinds of recipes, as if it were self-rising flour. The baking powder or baking soda or whatever is in the mix, so I measure it like flour and leave out the baking powder, etc.I feel good about baking healthier versions of my favorites at home.

Love this pancake mix, it’s easy to use, no added ingredients unless you want to add eggs and milk. Usually tastes fine with just water as the rest is in the mix. It’s very versatile and can be used to make muffins. Good quality and healthy ingredients.

So good. I loved this mix. It’s just as good as any white flour well know pancake mix brands.Same density and flips well. I used a small amount of oil in the pan. Great flavor. . So glad I bought this stuff. The Peanut Butter one is ok too,. It’s good, however you can get a slight hint of protien powder in some bites that may throw off your taste buds. . But if you like or are used to that it may not bug you.

I wasn’t sure how a protein pancake would taste but this was surprisingly good. I always use milk, an egg, and a dash of vanilla extract. If I like to get fancy, I’d add a mashed banana and some chopped macadamia nuts. They’re delicious. My pickiest child can’t even tell the difference.

Great nutrition value when compared to your typical store bought pancake mix. However, not only is it packed with protein but it also has a really good flavor to it. I usually do not add milk, and use water… made myself some banana flapjacks this morning, delicious!

I use this flour to make muffins in a mug, works great but to make it interesting you can put all kinds of topping but by themselves they lack sweetness and muffin can come out a little dry.I mix these with other muffins in a mug that are too sweet. I also use milk or cold coffee instead of water and a squirt of something gooey like Hershey’s syrup.1 minute in micro and boom there it is, breakfast you will actually like to eat now or later cold.My suggestion with cakes in a mug is if you want to make it affordable, tasty and not so bad for you? Ok not the perfect breakfast but EXPERIMENT by adding an egg, milk, healthy toppings, etc

I would highly suggest adding a little more water than the instructions say – not much, just a little. Maybe as little as a teaspoon extra per 1/4 cup of mix, otherwise the batter is really thick and doesn’t spread. Other than that these pancakes are great. They’re thick, flavorful, fluffy. I’ve had them with fruit, bacon, syrup, and sausages. You cannot go wrong with this mix. In fact, I bought a new pantry container because I plan on having this mix on hand at all times now, it’s that good.

Great pancakes! They cook up beautifully too. I used the extra high protein recipe on the box by using milk and an egg instead of water. I did add an extra 2-3 tablespoons of the mix to make the batter and pancakes a little thicker. The directions on the box do note that you can add more liquid for thinner or less liquid for thicker pancakes. Pretty much just common sense. Use real maple syrup too and you don’t feel guilty for eating a nice filling short stack with some ham on the side for breakfast. I’m looking forward to trying the muffin recipe on the box too. This is definitely my new boxed mix to keep on hand.

This is my second time trying a product from Kodiak and I’m quite pleased. The packaging was sturdy and impressive as always. The pancakes actually tasted better than what you would normally expect from box mix, but not quite as good as restaurant quality. I think if you added some nuts and cinnamon/spices they’d be even better. I just love that there’s so much protein in everything Kodiak makes but it never tastes like gross protein-fortified food.
