I love this green banana flour! Once I found a recipe for pancakes that worked for me, I discovered how delicious they are! The recipe I found was actually a Paleo recipe. I don’t follow that diet, but I liked the recipe because it used baking soda instead of baking powder (which has inorganic phosphates in it). I substituted buttermilk for the almond milk, then added a few heaping spoonfuls of Fage 0% or 2% Greek yogurt. The yogurt improves the flavor and fluffiness of the pancakes. Another thing that improves the flavor is a little bit of added cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice. I haven’t used this in a smoothie yet, but I am excited to try that. I was very impressed with the speedy reply that I received when I inquired about possible cross-contamination with peanuts or tree nuts. I was so very pleased to be informed that this green banana flour is produced in a peanut and tree nut free facility!

Banana flour is still so new so it takes some figuring out but this stuff is awesome! It has a very plain taste and my go to things are to use it as a base for “flouring” chicken with a bunch of flavors. I also make some delicious chocolate muffins, and it’s a great thickener! I haven’t mastered a pancake recipe yet but that is another idea. If you are willing to experiment, this is worth it!

This is a super food that, combined with other ingredients and plant based diet, helps to open up clogged arteries. What could be better for someone in their 70’s? I love it.

First ever taste of green banana flour, and I have to say I enjoy this very much. I take it raw, 2-4 Tbsp, with enough milk kefir to make a creamy, pudding consistency. This is a great way to get resistant starch in your diet, and it tastes great. Only issue is I need a bigger bag (I need to buy more!) as I am going through this quickly. Thank you for making this quality product available.

For most of my life I have been absolutely repulsed by bananas. So when I came across this listing on Amazon, my initial reaction was to keep scrolling, but then curiosity got the best of me and i looked it up. I was surprised to see there were so many health benefits to it so was feeling tempted but didn’t know if I could handle the taste or smell. Thanks to previous reviewers though I saw that it is free of that taste and smell!! So all the benefits without those two dreadful factors!! Awesome!! I HATE trying new foods but I figured this was a good compromise. The day it came I made some chocolate chip cookies with it with a recipe I found. I thought they would be a good intro to it. And hopefully make it more tolerable. What I was not anticipating, and shall now “warn” you about, is that everyone here absolutely loved them! The dozen or so I made did not last 24 hours! Wow! I was grateful that what I had read about the smell/taste was true and I was glad to be eating a healthier snack.Another benefit to this is that it is able to be purchased with an EBT card!My only disappointment is the size of the bag. In the beginning I was glad it was small in case I didn’t like it, but now that I have tried it twice it is rather a bummer. For only 2 recipes I used almost 2 whole bags. Each comes with a little over 2 cups only. So especially if you are planning to bake with it, i recommend 2 bags at least. I just placed my order for bags 3 and 4!!This may be a great aid to others too, who are looking to eat healthier but struggle to make big changes. Although it may not make bananas themselves less repulsive 😉
