    So, we have been using Montreal Steak Seasoning for YEARS. My wife got me using this for almost everything. When I say everything, I mean almost everything. Eggs? Check. Hamburger? Sure. Chicken? Why not. Hot dogs? Go crazy. This is something almost everyone should have in their cupboard.The only knock is the sodium content. BUT, you should always taste test and know when to season sparingly.

    great rub for burgers, steaks, brisket – if it is beef – this seasoning rub will make the flavor rise to a whole another level!! we usually apply to both sides of the beef – then vacuum seal – and freeze it until we pull it out to use! always great – and always get compliments on the flavor profile!

    I became addicted to MSS about 20 years ago. I ended up having to move up in sizes. I’ve typically bought this in the normal 3 inch tall jars for about 6 bucks. This size comes in a somewhat flexible plastic “jar”, similar to what you’d see in the even larger size available to restaurants, except the plastic is more flexible. The larger restaurant version is a harder plastic. This stuff is not cheap, but if you’re an addict, it pays to shop around. Amazon seems to have a price advantage even over the restaurant supply houses. For me, especially in warmer weather, this is a must have.

    Ive spent an entire summer with my blackstone griddle just cooking everything and tormenting the entire neighborhood with incredible food smells. I’ve had it for a few summers now and I love it. But this was the first summer with this seasoning. It’s like a good upgrade. I’ve been pouring it all over everything. But the true glory arrived in an amazon box one day when I got one of those hamburger patty makers. We added this to the meat as we made them up.Can I say porn in an amazon review? We’re about to find out because this seasoning turned a normal hamburger into a food porn festival. Dont question this seasoning. Just buy it.

    This is a staple in my household. I use it for many things including burgers and steaks. However my largest used for it is in frying chicken. My family loves my fried chicken, and all I do is pour a paper plate full of flour in a mound, then pour enough McCormick’s Montreal steak seasoning to cover the top of the mound. Then I just use my fingers to mix it all up, and did my chicken first of the flour, then the egg wash, and then back into the flour to coat it good, and I deep fry (Nuggets and strips) at 365 degrees. I used the same seasoned flour for pork chops and cubed steak as well.It’s just the perfect blend of salt, garlic, onion, pepper, and spices to bring out the flavor food without overpowering it, unless you were just very sensitive to pepper and spices. I think that you probably would have to like black pepper to really enjoy this seasoning as much as we do because you black pepper note is often strong.It comes in a squaring off bottle that is sealed underneath the lid. The lid has a Shaker side and a pour side.This is when I call the ‘small large’ size. They fit well in the cupboard together because they have nice straight sides, and the labels are very easy to read when they’re fronted well. This size fits well against the larger size, which I usually buy, too.I do find that find the larger sizes has a significant cost savings if you use a lot like we do.INGREDIENTSCOARSE SALT, SPICES (INCLUDING BLACK PEPPER AND RED PEPPER), GARLIC, ONION, SUNFLOWER OIL, NATURAL FLAVOR AND EXTRACTIVES OF PAPRIKA.Another thing that is quick and easy to do with this is if you have a Boston butt and you don’t want to smoke it, you can easily put it in a pressure or slow cooker with some balsamic vinegar and Montreal steak seasoning until done, chop it all up and barbecue it. It makes a good pulled pork for barbecue-not as good as rubbed/smoked but delicious, fast and easy, and much better than you can buy frozen!

    McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning has been a must have seasoning in our family for many years now. As a person with multiple food allergies I am the last person to try something new. I’m sure glad I tried this.It makes hamburgers fresh or frozen sing. My favorite way to grill a burger is to brush on butter and a little extra seasoning just before placing on a potato bun.This seasoning doesn’t have to just be used on meat , here are a few of our favorite non-meat uses. To season brown gravy, in beef stroganoff I add directly to the sour cream before adding to the meat stirring well. On the outside of baking potatoes that have been coated in butter before wrapping in aluminum foil.We started with the 3oz size and keep buying larger and larger sizes. I have even been known to shop at a local (restaurant) bulk store to buy the largest size that we know of ; for large gatherings and events. We could easily give this seasoning 10 stars. Highly recommend.

    I know taste is something that is very very personal and when my son-in-law who is a master grill chef told me to try this seasoning I was skeptical as always until I tasted his steak that he had on the grill for me. It’s amazing it’s just very very good and is even wonderful on grilled fish and even pan fried fish very lightly sprinkled along with any other spice you like.!

    Omg this is hands down the best seasoning ever. If anyone is looking for some good steak seasoning, then look no more. This seasoning is all you’ll need and want. (Tust me you won’t regret buying this seasoning). Y’all should definitely buy this brand and I swear you will love this seasoning. I’ve been buying and using this seasoning for over 20 years and I’ll keep on buying it forever. I literally stock up on this seasoning and I definitely always will. Even when I don’t need it. I just don’t want to take any chances of the stores running out and I definitely don’t wanna take any chances with the stores discontinuing this brand. I’m a see if I can edit this post and add pictures later on. But y’all better get hip and jump on this steak seasoning frfr.❤❤❤❤

    I use Montreal Steak Seasoning on SO much more then steaks! Sautéing vegetables, soups, salads, you name it! Branch and and experiment! You’ll be glad you did. A favorite is sautéed Brussels sprouts with MSS and a dash of lemon juice!
