    Its not fresh spices, I mean come on, its McCormick, but its a little piece of home up in the frozen north. The singular problem is that they’ve never fixed the caking issue with the shaker side getting clogged every other shake, requiring you to smack the tin against a surface to loosen it up, even brand new. But if you’re from Maryland, you know whats up, it’s the finest seasoning blend in the world. Try it with popcorn or buttered corn on the cob, and of course crabs, but that goes without saying.Do yourself a favor and look up “Rejected Old Bay Jingle” on youtube by Brian David Gilbert.Put it on everything. 🦀

    This is an ingredient for a shrimp boil that my Mom wanted to do. We tried it with and without the Old Bay and WOW does the Old Bay make a difference. The subtle change in flavor made the dish more savory. I’m looking forward to using it in other things I make in the near future.

    Well if you are stocking up on staples — dried chickpeas and black beans and so on — you need spices!!I chose this Cajun staple — it is dense, like Chili powder — you only need a LITTLE BIT TO GO A LONG WAY!!That makes the hand size container a great value.

    We had heard of this but spice never tried it. A good friend suggested that we do. So we purchased this small bottle and found that we wished that we had tried it a long time ago. This stuff adds great taste to just about any meal. It is best on meats like beef, chicken, fish and pork. But it doesn’t end there. Put it on salads and we even tried it on specialty sandwhiches and the added flavour was amazing. And soup… we used it on a chunky beef soup and it really enhansed the flavour. We have been trying it on almost everything with success on just about every dish.Comes in a plastic shaker bottle of just under 3 oz. There is a shaker spout under the resealable cap. The flavour is a nice mix of various spices and had just the perfect amount of heat/kick. When this is finished we will pick up a larger supply… So glad that we found this…

    ‘Turns out that this is the stuff that makes the difference between good seafood and great seafood. I try not to order steak or seafood at restaurants because I can cook it better at home….and much, much cheaper. This stuff is great.

    Here in MD crab houses use J.O. Seasoning for crabs and shrimp. It’s coarser and saltier nature is why they use J.O.That said, this goes well on everything, except beef and venison.I only bought it on Amazon because in 2021, I couldn’t find a small bottle like this to take to my office.It even is sold in the Philippines from what I have read.Good stuff, lifelong customer of this product.

    I ordered this item on a Saturday and selected standard delivery, so I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived on Monday! I’ve used a store-brand version of this type of seasoning but never the original Old Bay. It has a more pronounced celery seed flavor than the store-brand, which I like (but if you’re not a fan of celery seed, you might want to pass on this). It’s a versatile seasoning that I’ve already used in tuna salad and tofu scramble with excellent results. Given the freshness of the product and speed of delivery, I highly recommend this seller.

    My family’s go to seasoning for generations. Extremely flavorful but does not overpower the taste of the seafood, poultry and delicious on vegetables like cauliflower or squash. Try it when you make hash browns…it’s great.

    When I make fried chicken seasoning the flour with: Old Bay Seasoning, black pepper, salt and garlic powder it tastes so bomb! The flavor is likened to Shake and Bake from the 80’S.The con is the kind of container that is used. Its all soft plastic (they stopped using the metal containers years ago) which means the container top does NOT fasten shut, it wont fasten at all. When i need to use a little to sprinkle from the cover, I have to hold the lid down or all the contents will pour out.In order to keep this amazing seasoning selling, I strongly recommend for the company to go back to the original metal container.
